Abstract Submittal

Call for Abstracts
International Grouse Symposium 2018
Logan, Utah, United States

We are pleased to announce a request of abstracts for the International Grouse Symposium which will be held September 24-30, 2018 in Logan, Utah.

Abstracts should be related to grouse biology, conservation, or ecology.

The deadline for submissions is February 9, 2018.

Authors will be notified by April 6, 2018 regarding abstract acceptance. The acceptance notice will provide the scheduled day of the author's accepted poster or oral presentation to assist conference participants with travel arrangements.

Abstracts may be submitted in the following categories:

Oral presentations will be scheduled for 15 minutes which includes 10 minutes for the presentation and five minutes for questions.

Posters will be displayed during one of several poster sessions during the symposium. Authors will need to bring a printed version of their poster to display at the symposium. Authors will need to be present during the poster session they are assigned to so that they may interact with symposium participants.

Authors may contribute more than one abstract. However, if space limitations require, authors with multiple submissions may be asked to choose their highest priority abstract. Further, if space limitations require, we may ask oral presentation abstracts to consider presentation as a poster. An effort will be made to select abstracts that represent a diversity of grouse species, topics, and regions of the world.

Authors should provide a suggested topic from the following list but are not limited to:

Anthropogenic Effects
Behavior
Climate Effects,
Genetics
Habitat Management,
Population Dynamics,
Policy
Resource Selection
Other

This list will help us place similar presentations in specific sessions. Presentations that do not fit into one of the listed topics above are also desired and will be grouped as space allows.
